Born and raised in Switzerland, Caroline George is well versed in multiple languages. Growing up with a French mother and an American father, Caroline learned both French and English simultaneously as a child. Having mastered these languages at a young age, she was able to learn both German and Italian while attending secondary school. Caroline is a master at multi-tasking and you can rest assured your translating, writing editing, guiding and modelling needs will be done expediently, professionally and with an unmatched dedication to meeting your expectations.

But academia is not Caroline's only talent. Growing up in the heart of the Alps, Caroline was introduced to mountain climbing at a young age. This hobby transformed into a passion. She spent three years competing in the ice climbing world cup while still attending law school. This hobby transformed into a passion while attending university. She spent three years competing in the ice climbing world cup while still attending law school. Caroline spent two years working as a law consultant, but gave it up for a different calling: that of being a professional athlete. Over the past several years, Caroline has traveled the globe, taking part in numerous expeditions to climb vertical rock faces and frozen waterfalls. She currently works as an athlete for The North Face, Petzl and Scarpa and Julbo.

When not climbing mountains, Caroline can be found working in front of her computer. She has published many articles about her exploits in American, Canadian, French and Swiss climbing magazines. She has also worked as a translator for these same magazines, as well as for many international companies. Caroline works as a mountain guide and is currently in the process of attaining her IFMGA certification. This is the highest level of certification offered in the world and a credential that few women hold.
